The Vesalius Course
The Vesalius Course, organised by the
Department of Plastic Surgery of the Catholic University of
Louvain has been running since 1992.
The Courses were mainly devoted to the Anatomy and Clinical
aspects of microsurgery and were supervised by International
experts.
Nowadays, reconstructive microsurgery is performed routinely
in hospitals worldwide.
In 2004, Vesalius Course, organised by
the Department of Plastic Surgery, ENT, Neurosurgery and Neurology
of the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels, will
be devoted to all aspects of FACIAL
PALSY , with emphasis on surgical management.
The morning sessions will consist of
lectures by International experts.
In the afternoons, these will be “hands on” sessions
in the Anatomy Department where techniques presented in the
morning will be practised.
The first goal of the organisers is to
give high quality teaching including recent advances.
The second is to facilitate communication between all those
participating.
Looking forward to welcome you in Brussels
Sincerely yours.
